{"id":222,"date":"2019-05-29T19:27:10","date_gmt":"2019-05-29T17:27:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gernot-menke.de\/?page_id=222"},"modified":"2019-06-21T02:06:03","modified_gmt":"2019-06-21T00:06:03","slug":"fahrrad-trial-schatthausen-1972","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.gernot-menke.de\/en\/fahrrad-trial-schatthausen-1972\/","title":{"rendered":"Cycle Trial in Schatthausen (1972)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The early bicycle trials organised by MSC Schatthausen (southeast of Heidelberg) \u2013 also a well-known trials organiser \u2013 were held in the early 1970s by the club for the children of active motorcycle trials riders and for the local village youth, and were known as \u2018Kindertrial\u2019 (children's trials). These individual events were held for two or three years.<\/p>\n<p>One of these two or three bicycle trials took place on 9 July 1972, a Sunday. Matthias Waldi writes:<\/p>\n<p>The sections were about 150 metres away from our warehouse (on the club grounds). Mounds of earth dumped by lorries had to serve as sections. My father says we also drove on the slope behind it. The sections were marked with flags.<\/p>\n<p>Lorenz Hoffmann and Klaus D\u00fcrk were also at the start... I guess there were about 10-15 riders. We used our normal road bikes.
